Picture Retakes

Picture Re-takes are on November 5th.  If your child is going to have their picture re-taken, please make sure you send their 1st picture packet back with them.  If your child was absent on the first picture day they can have their picture taken on November 5th.  If you need picture forms sent home so you can fill them out, please e-mail me and I will send them home.

RFL Bucks for Bucket

Next week, Relay for Life will be having an estimation fund raiser called "Bucks for Bucket".  Students can bring in $1 to make an estimation for their grade level bucket.  Buckets will be set up upstairs in the hall in the morning.  Also, students can view the buckets in the media center throughout the day.

Pickett's Mill First Ever Movie Night

Mark your calendars! Please join Mrs. Ewers for a night of fun at Pickett's Mill Movie Night on Monday, November 2nd at 6:30pm.  The featured film is "Night at the Museum: The Battle of the Smithsonian".

The Student Council Canned Food Drive runs from October 19th thru November 19th.  Any dotations can be dropped off in the
large barrels near the bus port doors. 

If your child brings in a can on Thursday, October 22nd then he/she earns one no homework pass.

We will be having our 1st Community Outreach meeting on Friday, October 23rd at 8:30 a.m. in the PTA room. 

 

• We will be discussing activities and expectations of our committee for the 2009-2010 school year.

Here's a chance to enjoy Monday Night Football and help out our WatchDOGS program at the same time.
Join us for the following Monday Night Football games at Chili's on Cobb Parkway:

October 19 - Denver vs. San Diego
November 2 - ATLANTA vs. NEW ORLEANS
November 23 - Tennessee vs. Houston
December 7 - Baltimore vs. Green Bay

On those evenings, mention who your with and Chili's will donate 10% of their proceeds back to the Pickett's Mill WatchDOGS program.
