Marc Chagall is our artist for November. A prolific artist, Chagall easily worked in many media including painting, stained glass, ceramics and printmaking. His use of color was so masterful that Picasso remarked "When Matisse dies, Chagall will be the only painter left who understands what color really is." We will be investigating Chagall's use of color and examine the effect of color on mood and meaning.
