There is a fun typing program at theGamequarium website called Dance Mat Typing, that students can use at home.Students can also download a free copy of Type to Learn 4 to use at home. You will need to know your students id number and the school's account number to be able to log into Type to Learn. The link to download Type to Learn is:

Did you know..........
We have 2 computer labs at Pickett's Mill (one upstairs and one down). Both labs have 31 Dell computers, a Smartboard, a scanner, a color printer and a black & white printer.
Students visit the upstairs lab once every 5 school days as part of the Specials Rotation Schedule. They learn valuable technology skills while reinforcing academic skills learned in the classroom. Students learn to use many kinds of software, such as: MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel, Timeliner, Photostory, GraphClub, Type to Learn, Kidspiration, Inspiration, Mega Math, and Kidpix.
