CONVERGENT: Building the bridge
DIVERGENT: Building the bridge and a Waker Upper sheet were used to get your creativity flowing
EVALUATIVE: Majestic Connections 2 gave everyone plenty of evaluative time as you judged other's work based on the criteria expected. A few of you did not do your best. If you want to make this up you may.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONNECTIONS: If I Were A Bridge (part 2) was a really nice job for most of you. If you made less than you expected you may have a 2nd chance to complete.
SELF REFLECTION: Using your journal please write a sensible goal for yourself next week. You should have your long term goal already in place. BLOG RESPONSE: Reflect on all of your units in Target. Write 3-5 sentences telling which was your favorite unit and why. Don't forget perfect spelling and grammar.
SELF DIRECTED LEARNER: Test was today. I was not as happy with the results as I thought because I felt they should have been higher with 3 weeks to study for the test. Only 15 people took the test but our class avg was 84; 4-A's; 6-B's; 4-C's; 2-D's and 0-F. DON'T FORGET TO GET YOUR TEST SIGNED.
RESPECT FOR OTHERS: When you built your bridges this afternoon you showed respect for others by doing your best.
DON'T FORGET: Check the blog; TT; book
Next week is our last Target day until testing is completed. With that said, we will have our big bridge competition on Dec. 14 at 10:30 for all parents interested in watching the excitement. Also that last day is our "celebration". We will watch a movie. If any parent is interested in co-ordinating snacks for the group please contact me and I will give you a list of student's names.

My favorite unit was the snake unit. It was the snake unit because it was fun to learn how poisonous they are and how fast they are. Also, it was my favorite because we got to watch a lot of videos. I learned a lot from the videos like identifying if it was poisonous or not. I still remember how to identify a Copperhead from a King snake. "If red touches black you're ok as Jack but if red touches yellow you're a dead fellow." That is my blog response.
