Graphing is a skill that helps students progress in many areas. It increases number concepts. Offers an opportunity to increase direction following skills. Gives practice in fine motor skills. Improves matching and counting skills. This activity can be used as a template for a variety of graphing activities. If you include graphing activities on a regular basis in a variety of instructional units, your students will have a better opportunity to learm the skills and make progress in IEP and GPS alignment. You can also use real candy wrappers to complete a similar graphing activity. Have students bring in empty candy wrappers the day after Halloween (great time to include general education students).
