High School Teachers -this SS standard is listed on the Curriculum guide as a possiblity for December that will allow you to align to standards AND have some holiday fun. Obviously this standard is not limited to winter holidays and traditions, but it is a fun place to start and makes a nice transition into a winter unit.

e. Describe the ethnic and religious groups in Canada and the United States; include major customs and traditions.
