Meet Miss Towne

Patti Towne is a graduate of Auburn University and the University of West Georgia.  Her latest degree is in instructional technology.  She has a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Science in Elementary Education from Auburn University.  She has been in Cobb County for 12 years as a teacher.  Her experiences have been in third, fifth, second, and first grades at Kennesaw Elementary and Hayes Elementary.  

Here are a few tid-bits about Miss Towne:

Favorite Colors:  orange and blue

 

A few of your favorite things:  Auburn Football Season, planting flowers, working in the yard, reading children’s books, crafting, going to the movies

Birthdate:  June 2

 

Anniversary: none yet  

 

Favorite holiday: Thanksgiving because I love the relaxing time with family.

 

Favorite music/singer:  I enjoy listening to country music but will listen to anything.

 

Favorite flower: daffodils because it is springtime

 

Favorite type of books:  any children’s book

 

Favorite candy or splurge food: peanut m&ms, any 100 calorie packs

 

Favorite breakfast: Art’s Bagels (egg and cheese)

 

Favorite restaurant: ShoGun, O’Charley’s, Art’s Bagels, LaParilla, Chick-fil-a

 

Favorite scent: none (My sinuses are very sensitive.)

 

Favorite way to unwind: sit on the patio with my dog and grill out food

 

Favorite activity outside of school: eating out with friends and going to the new movie theater

 

Favorite drink: coke, Sunkist, water

 

Do you have pets? Two dogs, Angel and Sierra

JUST GOTTA HAVE: nothing, my favorite thing is seeing the kids learn something new.  I also enjoy seeing their face light up when they see me out of the school setting. (I don’t live at school.)
