Jessie Moreau from Gwinnett County shared this resource with us - thanks Jessie.
She was searching for a virtual spinner on the computer to use with a Lab
class when she came across this one from the Unpractical math website:
http://www.unpracticalmath.com/applets/virtual_spinner.html
It can be modified to change number of divisions, display numbers or
letters, and colors of section divisions.
It comes white with 8 divisions but is extremely easy to modify as I did in
the picture shown.
Will work great with your LCD projectors, should work with your Smart
Boards/electronic white boards.
If you are working on number recognition, color recognition, odd/even
numbers, probability, counting -- this spinner may be a great addition to
your class.
It can be switch accessible if you move the cursor to the "Spin It" button
so the student can press the switch you have connected to the computer.
